Course Objectives

Some think this is about playing silly games, or indulging in expensive and irrelevant out of work activities. The managers or business people who believe this will quickly dismiss the concept as a total waste of money and energy. Hijattulah Abdul Jabbar is an Associate Professor at the School of Accountancy, Universiti Utara Malaysia. His primary teaching interests is in taxation and financial accounting. He has taught courses of this nature, both at the bachelor, master and doctorate levels for the past 20 years. His main research interest is in the area of tax compliance issues, covering mainly the small and medium enterprises. He is former Director of Centre for International Affairs and Cooperation UUM (2012-2015), Dean of Student Development and Alumni, College of Business (2010-2011), Deputy Dean of Research and Postgraduate Studies, College of Business (2010) and principal of two Residential Colleges at UUM (2000-2004).

Mr. Mohd Fadzil bin Harun

Mr. Mohd Fadzil earned his Master of Business Administration(MBA) from Universiti Utara Malaysia. His area of specialization are Warehousing, Logistics, Import/Export procedures and Supply Chain with more than 25 years handson industrial experiences in multi-national Japanese, British, Switzerland, American and local companies.

He possess ISO9000 Lead Assessor Certification and a Certified Trainer under HRDF. He has lead various plantwide implementation teams of 5S, 6S, Kaizen, X-docking, Value Stream Mapping (Makigami), Lean in Operations, Lean Administration, Lean Aviation MRO and Aircraft Hangars. He had directly involved in the implementation of TS16949, ISO9000 and EMS.

Currently, he is also involves in university’s module writing and part time lecturer for local Universities for OSHA, Lean Manufacturing, Warehousing, Leadership, Organization Behaviour, Marketing, Strategic Management, International Business, Operational Management and Supply Chain Management for Diploma, Degree and Master students.
